What you will do

• Collaborate with Business Process Owners to identify data-driven opportunities and translate operational data into ML models.
• Apply advanced feature engineering, interpretable modeling, and mathematical optimization for actionable insights in SAP processes.
• Design and implement AI services on SAP BTP, including GenAI- and LLM-based assistants.
• Develop, maintain, and secure APIs and lightweight applications for ML model exposure to SAP workflows.
• Design, implement, and maintain reproducible data and ML pipelines on SAP BTP and cloud platforms.
• Monitor model performance in production SAP workflows, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or similar.
• Strong skills in Python, data/ML libraries, and applied ML.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably SAP BTP (e.g., SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, HANA Cloud, CAP) and Azure.
• Understanding of basic MLOps concepts and CI/CD for ML services.
• Ability to translate SAP business requirements into ML solutions and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Curious, collaborative, structured, and comfortable working in international, interdisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs / foundation models and GenAI.
• Interest in enterprise applications and SAP ecosystems.
