Senior Information Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Senior Information Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of hirify.global’s enterprise security tools, platforms, and processes with an accent on driving innovation, automation, and integration across the technology estate. Focus on managing and reporting information security risks, securing infrastructure controls aligned to industry best practice, and supporting audits and regulatory reviews.

Location: Hybrid in Manchester or London, UK (minimum 50% office attendance)

What you will do

• Lead delivery and ongoing management of enterprise security solutions across Endpoint, Cloud, Network, DevOps, and Security Monitoring.
• Design and implement secure infrastructure controls aligned with industry best practices.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement new enterprise security tools and platforms.
• Drive adoption of new technologies, ensuring effective operational handover and value realization.
• Lead and coordinate patch management activities across internal systems and hardware.
• Provide security oversight across projects and change initiatives to protect hirify.global’s security posture.

Requirements

• Proven experience implementing enterprise security platforms.
• Strong understanding of security risk management tools and techniques.
• Deep knowledge of security solutions including SIEM, PAM, IGA, email/web gateways, and endpoint protection.
• Experience working within recognized frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST or similar.
• Significant experience within IT security.
• English: B2 required

Nice to have

• Experience with firewall technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud security standards and solutions.
• Financial services or e-commerce sector experience preferred.
• CISSP (attained or working towards) desirable.
