Salary: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and enhancement of transmission systems.
• Collaborate with machine and transmission application leads and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain transmission software.
• Integrate common software library modules and source code generated from a code generation tool.
• Test and debug embedded system software using various tools and methods to improve code quality.
• Perform laboratory verification of software and Model in the Loop (MIL) testing.
• Identify and address areas of product weakness in finished products.

Requirements

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and their applications.
• Ability to elicit, analyze, and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements.
• Experience using MATLAB/Simulink for software development.
• Extensive knowledge of software tools such as Git, CANalyzer, CANape, and Software Debugger.
• Familiarity with CAN/J1939 communication protocols.
