What you will do
- Own the complete Country Pod for Singapore, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country-specific regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all Singapore payroll-related matters.
- Stay updated with international payroll laws, regulations, tax, and benefits to ensure compliance.
- Manage existing relationships with payroll, accounting, and service providers.
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators, and SLA metrics for the team.
- Document and maintain all relevant payroll processes in line with internal governance and external legislative/regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
Requirements
- Experienced in regional/global payroll operations, specifically Singapore.
- Ability to manage risk and exercise judgment to resolve/escalate issues, handling confidential matters with discretion.
- Strong understanding of global payroll best practices.
- Proven experience in implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing third-party payroll services.
- Proficient in software tools like SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
