Responsibilities:

🌸Design, implement, and maintain the compliance strategy for a leading global payroll service provider.
🌸Develop and apply a risk-based approach to customer and partner screening.
🌸Monitor and assess company activities to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
🌸Collaborate with the product team to integrate AML and compliance tools into Stape’s services.
🌸Lead compliance training and education initiatives across the company.
🌸Work closely with partners to build a sustainable, compliant, and legally sound global infrastructure.

Requirements:

💦At least 3 years of experience as a Compliance Officer, ideally within fintech, payroll, or financial services.
💦AML / FATF certifications and completed professional training (e.g. via the International Compliance Association).
💦High level of self-motivation with the ability to set goals and build processes independently in a fast-growing, non-bureaucratic environment.
💦Strong knowledge of US, EEA, and UK regulations, with a solid legal understanding of compliance and AML frameworks.
💦Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you enjoy working with people and building trust across teams and partners.
