What you will do

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality.
• Create and execute automated test scripts leveraging testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and contribute to acceptance criteria.
• Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and support their resolution with developers.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to the organization's technology communities.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of various testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with building and delivering end-to-end automated and manual testing of complex distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Java software development, including Git and Maven.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like Selenium and TestNG.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with global teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and become autonomous in new environments.

Nice to have

• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Unix systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems and messaging middleware solutions.
• Knowledge of investment banking and trade processing systems.
