TL;DR

QA Automation Engineer (Java): Developing and optimizing automated testing strategies and frameworks for hirify.global Backup for Salesforce with an accent on integration, functional, and load testing. Focus on building robust test scenarios for backend, frontend, and data storage systems using Java and Playwright.

Location: Hybrid (Lisbon). Remote work is only possible if the employee is located in Portugal.

What you will do

  • Develop testing strategies and automated tests for integration and functional scenarios across backend, frontend, and data storage systems.
  • Create and improve automation tools and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  • Conduct functional, integration, and load testing cycles.
  • Validate test scenarios written by other team members and evaluate results to suggest quality improvements.
  • Analyze results and implement new approaches to increase overall test coverage.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java and SQL.
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, HTTP, and API testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright and Spring Boot.
  • Knowledge of Docker and automated testing tools like JUnit and Jupiter.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, pipelines, Bicep).
  • Understanding of distributed systems and system interoperability.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s).
  • Experience in load testing and working with large volumes of data.
  • Deep understanding of the software life cycle and testing processes.
