What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful and event-driven microservices using FastAPI.
• Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations for high throughput and reliability.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale services on AWS (EKS, RDS, S3).
• Build and orchestrate Docker containers with Kubernetes (EKS) for seamless deployments.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery workflows using GitHub Actions.
• Write unit, integration, stress, and end-to-end tests to uphold code quality and reliability.

Requirements

• 6+ years in a high-velocity startup or product-centric environment.
• Expert in Python and FastAPI, with a strong grasp of modern API design.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL (indexes, migrations, tuning) and familiarity with at least one NoSQL store.
• Hands-on AWS experience (compute, storage, serverless).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD toolchains.
• Deep understanding of the testing pyramid and test frameworks (pytest, unittest).

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
• Familiarity with audio processing pipelines or DSP.
• Knowledge of observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
