What you will do

• Take ownership of the delivery of complex projects, aligning with cross-functional teams.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Reliant's vision and integrate it into architectural and process choices.
• Provide valuable insights to refine UI/UX concepts and contribute to backend and infrastructure planning.
• Proactively take responsibility for long-term code quality and architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience building backend services or distributed systems.
• Design, build, test, and maintain production-quality backend services and APIs.
• Participate in system and service design, contributing to architectural discussions.
• Ability to work through ambiguity, translating high-level requirements into implementation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver features.
• Ensure code quality by writing, reviewing, and improving unit/integration tests and participating in code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical decisions and negotiate with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in machine learning, AI, and LLMs.
• DevOps and infrastructure experience.
• Experience documenting designs, runbooks, and best practices.
