What you will do
- Act as a link between Tech and Art departments, ensuring clear communication.
- Lead R&D for tech art, improving pipelines and artistic quality.
- Ensure overall project performance meets targets while preserving visual quality.
- Create shaders using node-based tools like Unreal’s Material Editor and Unity’s Shader Graph.
- Support Art with visual scripting (e.g., Unreal’s Blueprints) for basic asset functionality.
- Test game builds on platform to ensure accurate depiction from engine to build.
Requirements
- 2.5+ years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in the Games Industry, with at least 1 game released.
- Thorough knowledge of Unreal game engine.
- Proficiency with 3d Studio Max or Maya and Photoshop.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- English: B2 required.
Nice to have
- Experience with code-based shader creation language.
- Experience developing and releasing games on consoles.
- Experience with proprietary game engines and/or Unity.
- Familiarity with animation tools and pipelines.
