What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of up to 10 engineers, focusing on their growth and performance.
• Be accountable for project delivery, quality of solutions, and hiring within your team.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize work and ensure engineering needs are met.
• Ensure technical quality and maintainability of implemented solutions.
• Shield your team from distractions while keeping them informed of priorities.
• Lead by example, motivate, and mentor your team.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in a software engineering role and agile environment.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and coaching/mentoring engineers.
• Experience delivering complex, large-scale projects.
• Experience working on production machine learning and/or optimization problems.
• Ability to be hands-on and contribute to technical discussions, system design, and architecture.
