Senior Data Scientist (AI): Designing and implementing machine learning models and contributing to Generative AI initiatives to enhance content workflows with an accent on prompt engineering, model deployment, and scalable solutions. Location: Hybrid in Cheshire, United Kingdom

What you will do

Design and implement machine learning models (classification and predictive).
Contribute to Generative AI initiatives, including prompt engineering and optimization.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using best engineering practices (unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews).
Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data science solutions.
Stay updated on emerging trends in AI/ML, especially Generative AI and automation.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in data science or related roles.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with software engineering principles.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Knowledge of prompt engineering and Generative AI concepts.
Understanding of CI/CD processes and collaborative development practices.
Hands-on experience with Database frameworks (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Nice to have

Familiarity with Databricks.
Exposure to large language models (LLMs) and agentic AI systems.
Experience in data-driven automation and content workflows.
