Product Management Intern

TL;DR

Product Management Intern: Supporting the product team in day-to-day activities with stakeholder groups, defining requirements, conducting product research, and assisting in squads to deliver corporate objectives with an accent on analyzing product dynamics and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Location: Flexible hybrid work model in Toronto, Canada. Candidates must be currently completing an undergraduate degree from a creditable Canadian institution.

Salary: $21–$23 hourly (CAD)

What you will do

• Support the Product team in day-to-day activities with stakeholder groups across sales, engineering, marketing, and design.
• Provide general support to the product roadmap, defining requirements, conducting product research, and assisting squads in delivering corporate objectives.
• Analyze product dynamics and business needs and recommend prioritization of roadmap items.
• Conduct market research and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to support product launches.
• Help track product performance metrics, analyze data, and participate in user testing to inform decision-making and recommend UX/UI improvements.

Requirements

• Currently completing an undergraduate degree from a creditable Canadian institution with a focus on Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with product development processes and agile methodologies.
• Ability to conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather user feedback.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, MS Teams) with a preference for working knowledge of Excel.

Nice to have

• Familiarity or previous experience with product management or product development.
• Strong working understanding of Agile.
• Prior experience in primary and/or secondary research, pricing and financial analysis, and/or consulting.
