What you will do
- Lead end-to-end architecture and scope for Azure projects, ensuring solutions meet goals for value, security, scalability, reliability, performance, and cost.
- Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert, guiding consultants and engineers to align implementation with architecture and standards.
- Apply sound engineering practices and provide architectural guidance through design and pull-request reviews.
- Lead discovery and requirements sessions, clarifying scope, dependencies, and risks, and shaping a prioritized backlog.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, strengthening design skills and technical judgment.
- Contribute to business development, defining cloud visions, and producing solution options and estimates.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data governance or data management within a cloud environment.
- Proven experience leading hybrid and remote teams across time zones.
- Expertise in at least one major public cloud platform, with 2+ years of Azure technologies experience.
- Deep understanding of core concepts and design patterns in your primary domain, with the ability to build robust systems.
- Experience using AI-augmented development or integrating AI/ML capabilities into solutions.
- Strong understanding of data platform and analytics ecosystems, including 2+ areas like Data Warehousing, BI, Data Science, ML, MDM, Data Governance, and Data Quality Management.
