What you will do

• Serve as the senior technical authority for product safety investigations and incidents.
• Lead the Product Investigation Council, ensuring timely, rigorous, and data-driven decision-making.
• Proactively identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate product safety risks across the product portfolio.
• Partner with Quality, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Experience leaders to ensure end-to-end product safety and compliance.
• Ensure all critical product safety processes are clearly defined and documented.
• Represent hirify.global in external standards and regulatory forums.

Requirements

• 7+ years of leadership experience in Product Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and/or Quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• Proven experience leading global, cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years of experience in consumer goods (B2C) environments.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing product safety and regulatory compliance strategies at scale.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in fitness, connected devices, or consumer electronics industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with product risk management, regulatory reporting, and agency engagement is a plus.
• Experience partnering with external manufacturers, suppliers, and testing laboratories is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Design for Safety principles is a plus.
