What you will do

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native, data-intensive systems on AWS.
• Modernize the Payment Services Platform by transitioning from legacy systems to modern, scalable solutions.
• Develop microservices architecture and APIs for strategic payment initiatives.
• Improve user experiences and deliver operational efficiencies.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Strong Java with Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
• Proficient in data modeling and building reliable data integrations and APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD using GitLab CI/CD and Git version control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of distributed systems.
• Knowledge of AWS services – compute, networking, storage, databases, messaging queues, serverless, and observability.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Previous experience in financial services or fintech.
