What you will do
- Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and reliability of infrastructure and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents and system outages, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Automate operational tasks to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, including capacity planning.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and incident management.
- Participate in on-call rotations and implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, .NET, IIS, SQL Server, PowerShell, and Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- Solid knowledge of Windows network/system administration and core networking principles.
- Practical expertise in managing firewalls, configuring VPN tunnels, and troubleshooting connectivity.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills, including Azure cmdlets.
- Familiarity with DevOps and monitoring platforms like Visual Studio Team Services, Git, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and DataDog.
- Experience with SQL Server administration, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, ITIL v4, and Service Desk solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a customer success-driven approach.
