Middle Fullstack Developer

TL;DR

Middle Fullstack Developer (Node.js, React): Contributing to feature development, integrations, and UI improvements for a global jewelry manufacturer and retailer, working closely with a Senior Backstage Platform Engineer and other platform stakeholders with an accent on building and extending Backstage plugins, frontend components, and backend services under existing architectural guidance. Focus on implementing and maintaining platform integrations with internal tools and cloud services, and developing self-service workflows and APIs that replace manual operational processes.

What you will do

• Build and extend Backstage plugins, frontend components, and backend services.
• Contribute to the Software Catalog, improving visibility and consistency of services and resources.
• Implement and maintain platform integrations with internal tools and cloud services.
• Develop self-service workflows and APIs that replace manual operational processes.
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and security teams to ensure solutions meet internal standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on full-stack development.
• Solid experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience working with modern CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within an existing platform architecture.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Backstage.io or other internal developer platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
• Cloud platforms: Azure
• Monitoring tools: New Relic
