Location: Flexible work model in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), with the option to work up to 90 days abroad annually.

What you will do

• Conduct discovery sessions to understand tax-related customer requirements and translate them into tailored solution approaches.
• Lead product demonstrations focused on tax use cases and compliance in the DACH region.
• Act as a trusted advisor, explaining complex tax topics such as VAT, Pillar Two, CbCR, and Income Tax to stakeholders.
• Prepare and ensure technical accuracy of RFP/RFI responses with a strong focus on regional tax compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Legal to improve solution positioning and market readiness for the DACH tax technology landscape.
• Develop and refine sales support materials, demo assets, and internal training content.
• Stay actively informed on DACH tax legislation, industry trends, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tax, with direct exposure to tax reporting and/or digital tax solutions in the DACH market.
• Completed training as a tax specialist, a degree in taxation, or equivalent qualifications (e.g., experience in a tax advisory/accounting firm or Big 4 environment).
• Strong understanding of German and/or Austrian/Swiss tax systems, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent German communication skills and strong English skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in technical pre-sales / sales engineering (ideally within SaaS, FinTech, or tax technology).
• Familiarity with hirify.global’s product suite.
