Location: Remote (US), with required in-person attendance at team and company-wide offsites annually. Must be currently licensed in a U.S. state.

Salary: $224,995–$264,700 USD

What you will do

• Provide legal, business, and strategic advice to hirify.global's Developer business and product teams.
• Counsel product teams through the full product life-cycle, from ideation to launch and operation.
• Ensure global legal compliance, focusing on U.S. domestic and international legal issues.
• Identify complex legal issues, partnering with internal legal teams and outside counsel for resolution.
• Work cross-functionally with Compliance, Communications, Finance, Security, and Data Analytics teams.
• Operate as the legal owner for your assigned product and practice area, providing proactive legal counsel.

Requirements

• Currently licensed in a U.S. state.
• J.D. or equivalent with 7+ years of legal experience, preferably in-house with consumer technology, fintech, or crypto/blockchain companies.
• Proven experience counseling product teams on launching technology products and understanding their legal underpinnings.
• Strong interest and familiarity with digital currency, blockchain technology, web3, and defi.
• Familiarity with major global laws and regulations related to payments, financial services, internet technology, and crypto (e.g., money transmission laws, NYDFS Bitlicense, BSA, GDPR).
• Excellent legal judgment, analytical rigor, prudential risk assessment, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
