What you will do

• Lead design and implementation of secure infrastructure, application architecture, and standards, influencing security for systems like hot/cold signing services, Kubernetes distributed systems, network controls, and blockchain bridges.
• Integrate security into the development lifecycle by building tooling and CI/CD guardrails for secure code delivery.
• Conduct deep-dive threat modeling for new products, identifying issues and economic attack vectors missed by automated tools.
• Serve as Incident Commander for high-severity security events, refining IR playbooks and leading war games to detect and neutralize threats rapidly.
• Oversee cryptographic material lifecycle, ensuring HSM and key management services adhere to strict industry standards.
• Mentor Senior and Mid-level security engineers, championing a "security-first" culture and acting as a pragmatic partner to Product managers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience securing distributed systems in high-growth technology companies.
• Proven track record of leading complex security initiatives from conception to delivery.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture (Kubernetes, Istio) and cloud-native security controls.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving security excellence across teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions across the organization.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve work.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
