TL;DR

Sr. / Community Manager (Game Development): Leading external product communication and community engagement for hirify.global Japan Studios’ GaaS titles with an accent on strategic planning for community and social functions and growing community channels. Focus on leveraging player insights, coordinating community activations, and building strong fandom around GaaS titles in Western markets.

Location: Hybrid in Irvine, CA. Working in-office is an essential function of this position.

Salary: $105,000.00–$130,000.00

What you will do

  • Define and develop brand voice and personality for GaaS titles.
  • Collaborate with international teams to develop globally integrated community campaigns.
  • Create and maintain a social content roadmap calendar.
  • Serve as a key community contact, providing insights to development teams.
  • Contribute to content strategy and engage on official social and community channels.
  • Manage all owned channels for assigned products, including social media and forums.

Requirements

  • 5+ (Manager) or 8+ years (Sr. Manager) of experience in community management, social media marketing, or public relations in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communication or marketing.
  • Must be an avid gamer with a strong understanding of RPGs, anime-inspired games, and Japanese IP.
  • Must have management experience, including leading teams of 2 or more.
  • In-depth knowledge of current community and content distribution channels.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong copywriting abilities.
