TL;DR

Marketing Intern (Game Development): Participating in brand, franchise, and project marketing for AAA game projects with an accent on campaign planning, brand alignment, and cross-team coordination. Location: Remote/Flexible within the United States, with required onsite onboarding in San Carlos, CA for 1-2 weeks.

Salary: $20-25 per hour

What you will do

  • Acquire essential skills using industry-standard project management and analytics tools (Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Confluence, PowerPoint/Keynote, Google Workspace).
  • Participate in various game development aspects of brand, franchise, and project marketing, including campaign planning and brand alignment reviews.
  • Support mid, senior, and lead marketing team members by organizing marketing plans, tracking deliverables, preparing presentations, and assisting with coordination.
  • Enhance your understanding of how brand strategy, franchise planning, and marketing initiatives align with game development milestones and studio goals.

Requirements

  • Enrolled as a college Junior or Senior (graduating Fall/Winter 2025 or Spring 2026).
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Brand, Art, Game Art, Game Development, or related fields.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hrs/week) from June 1st – August 21st, 2026.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Able to work onsite at our studio in San Carlos, CA for the first 1-2 weeks for onboarding.
  • Submission of a complete application that includes a resume, cover letter, and a link to your portfolio.

Nice to have

  • Portfolio demonstrating foundational Marketing, Brand or Project management skills, including brand decks, marketing plans, or campaign proposals.
  • Exposure to industry-standard marketing, planning, and organizational tools or workflows.
  • Industry involvement outside classroom curriculum such as game jams or personal projects.
  • Willingness to tackle challenges, learn from feedback, and adapt to new tools or workflows.
  • Ability to communicate ideas with eagerness to learn and turn feedback into action.
