What you will do
- Lead U.S. international tax planning and structuring initiatives, including M&A, cross-border investments, expansion, and OECD Pillar Two readiness.
- Own U.S. international tax provision calculations under ASC 740, covering GILTI, Subpart F, and foreign tax credits for quarterly and annual reporting.
- Lead U.S. international tax compliance and information reporting (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858) with external advisors.
- Be responsible for intercompany transactions and global transfer pricing policies.
- Monitor global tax legislative developments, model impacts, and communicate recommendations.
- Support tax-efficient repatriation strategies and other international tax planning.
- Serve as a technical resource for audits, special projects, and cross-functional tax matters.
Requirements
- 6+ years of U.S. international tax experience, including Big 4 and/or in-house experience at a multinational company.
- Demonstrated experience applying ASC 740 and U.S. international tax rules (GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, transfer pricing).
- Experience preparing or reviewing U.S. international information returns (Forms 5471, 8858).
- Experience preparing or reviewing international components of quarterly and annual tax provisions.
- Must be able to work remotely in the United States or from one of hirify.global's US hubs.
- In-person onboarding is required if hired.
Nice to have
- Experience with OECD Pillar Two modeling, readiness, or implementation.
- Experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company.
- Public company experience.
- Master’s in Taxation, CPA license, JD, or LLM.
