What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend services in Go that support mission-critical payments, billing, and account systems.
• Ensure high reliability, strong observability, and clear operational ownership for core services end-to-end.
• Deliver meaningful system improvements that increase scalability, correctness, and developer velocity.
• Strengthen service health by reducing operational risk, technical debt, and incident frequency.
• Lead and contribute to design and code reviews, raising the quality bar for service architecture, testing, and production readiness.
• Partner cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to make complex backend systems understandable and usable.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing, building, and operating scalable backend services, with strong proficiency in Go.
• Strong understanding of smart contracts and blockchain fundamentals.
• Demonstrated experience designing and evolving complex microservices architectures.
• Experience building and operating production systems with strong operational excellence.
• Ability to take ownership of services across the full lifecycle.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Passion for the Web3 ecosystem and participation in open-source or community-driven projects.
• Experience working in globally distributed teams.
• Familiarity with backend or blockchain-integrated security considerations.
