What you will do

• Own end-to-end testing for major subsystems in network virtualization products.
• Coordinate with development, product management, and solution architects for comprehensive feature testing.
• Design complex distributed architectures and drive their adoption and implementation.
• Write high-quality test code for complex tests on distributed systems.
• Participate in design and code reviews to improve software quality.
• Implement code to streamline automation and reduce cycle times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related degree.
• 8+ years of experience in related field (or 6+ years with Master's).
• 2+ years of virtualization experience (ESX and KVM preferred).
• 2+ years with Python, Go, Scala, or equivalent.
• Deep Linux knowledge and experience.
• Strong interest in internet technology and security concepts (firewall architectures, Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, L7).
• Solid knowledge of OOP concepts, object/data modeling, and data structures.
• Hands-on experience in Linux environment and with networking protocols (HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, UDP).

Nice to have

• Experience using commercial test tools (Spirent Avalanche, IX Load, Breaking Point).
• Networking troubleshooting/debugging skills (tcpdump, wireshark, traceroute, netstat).
• Experience with SCM tools like git, gerrit, Perforce, SVN.
