What you will do

• Implement and evolve performance and reliability tests for cloud-native, microservices-based systems.
• Build and maintain performance test components for load generation, result collection, and analysis.
• Execute performance tests in CI/CD pipelines and support their integration into development workflows.
• Use observability tools to analyze, visualize, and communicate performance results.
• Store, track, and compare performance results over time to identify regressions and trends.
• Partner with development teams to improve system behavior under load.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in test automation, SDET, performance engineering, or backend engineering roles with a strong testing focus.
• Strong coding skills in Go, Java, or Python (Go preferred).
• Hands-on experience implementing performance tests for cloud-based applications.
• Practical understanding of performance testing types, load patterns, and core performance metrics.
• Experience working with observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Experience building upon at least one public cloud platform (GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with public cloud service paradigms (VMs, containers, orchestration, serverless).
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as k6, Locust, JMeter, or Gatling.
• Experience working with containerized environments and distributed systems.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure components.
• Experience with SaaS platforms or security-sensitive systems.
• PKI and Certificate management.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
