QA Engineer

What you will do

• Perform functional and regression testing of backend and API-driven systems.
• Design, execute, and maintain API test cases using Postman, validating request/response structures and error handling.
• Work with JSON/XML payloads to ensure data integrity and business logic.
• Create and execute SQL queries for data validation and investigate issues at the database level.
• Participate in requirement analysis, providing QA input early in the development cycle.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Experience as a QA Engineer for 3+ years.
• Strong hands-on experience in API testing, specifically with Postman.
• Solid SQL knowledge, including complex queries, joins, and data validation.
• Understanding of REST principles and HTTP methods.
• Experience testing microservices-based or backend-heavy systems.
• English: B2+ (Intermediate+) required.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with performance or security testing.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
