Qa Engineer with Accounting Experience

What you will do

• Analyze and clarify requirements and documentation for financial systems.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, checklists, and test documentation.
• Perform manual testing of APIs, data flows, and web interfaces.
• Conduct data quality testing and Excel analysis for financial data.
• Participate in exploratory and regression testing cycles.
• Log defects clearly and track them through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA peers, analysts, and DevOps engineers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong financial or accounting background.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, types of testing, and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with client-server systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira and TestRail or equivalents.
• Experience with relational databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with T-accounts.
• Experience with SAP or 1С.
• Understanding of CI/CD and cloud environments.
