TL;DR

Senior Manager, Growth and Transformation (Fintech): Defining and delivering a six-year strategic roadmap to grow the Loans business with an accent on product and proposition strategies, commercial growth, and leveraging AI. Location: Hybrid, requiring 40% (two days per week) office attendance in Chester, Manchester, Halifax, or Leeds, UK.

Salary: £76,194 - £89,640

What you will do

  • Define and support the delivery of a six-year strategic roadmap for the Loans business.
  • Build investment cases and growth plans for new initiatives.
  • Use market insights to understand customer needs, technology enablers, and market dynamics.
  • Ensure products follow regulations and manage risk effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with Product and Platform teams to ensure strategy execution.
  • Leverage AI capabilities and data to foster innovation and growth.

Requirements

  • Deep consumer insight to translate needs into compelling propositions and commercial outcomes.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen to shape long-term strategy for Loans.
  • Experience driving digital and business transformation, leveraging platforms, data, and AI.
  • Strong understanding of the personal lending sector, emerging trends, and regulatory landscape (Consumer Duty).
  • Confidence in making timely, evidence-based decisions by assimilating complex information.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder leadership skills across Group teams.

Nice to have

  • Retail Banking Experience.
  • Experience shaping strategy in a Loans or Credit Domain.
