What you will do
- Lead technical initiatives, including redesigning and implementing major platforms impacting various engineering teams.
- Drive technical vision and architecture decisions across engineering teams.
- Own the technical architecture and delivery of large-scale, business-critical systems, ensuring highest standards.
- Think holistically about system architecture, reducing complexity.
- Mentor engineers across teams and potentially manage smaller engineering teams.
- Build effective relationships with product, design, and operations to translate business logic into engineering deliverables.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience owning and delivering large-scale, mission-critical operational software.
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.
- Competency in both Relational (e.g., Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g., CosmosDB, Elasticsearch) databases at scale.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining high-traffic, resilient backend systems.
- Strong technical leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
