.NET Architect (Microservices)

.NET Architect (Microservices): Designing and implementing robust, scalable .NET Core-based microservices and Blazor UI modules with an accent on converting legacy C++ and PL/SQL components. Focus on building modern API endpoints, refactoring business logic, and ensuring cloud-agnostic implementations with Azure and CI/CD integration.

Location: Fulltime position based in Bengaluru, India with remote and hybrid work options (country-dependent).

What you will do

• Convert legacy C++ and .NET 4.8 WinForms components to .NET Core microservices and Blazor UI.
• Rewrite PL/SQL business logic into C# using EF Core and a service-oriented architecture.
• Build API endpoints, service classes, controllers, and reusable components for modular modernization.
• Participate in database migration workflows (Oracle to PostgreSQL) and UI modernization to Blazor.
• Develop microservices leveraging Azure capabilities like App Services, Functions, SQL, and Storage.
• Define, evolve, and document the technical architecture and system integration design of applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft technologies with a strong background in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with Blazor for UI modernization (explicitly referenced as a target UI).
• Demonstrated experience in converting WinForms/C++ modules to C#/.NET Core and Oracle PL/SQL logic to C# service layers.
• Understanding of multi-tier architectures and decomposition of monolithic systems into microservices and distributed patterns.
• Proficiency in REST API design and integration, as well as message-based integration concepts (Kafka/ActiveMQ).
• Experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Redis Cache.
• DevOps experience, including implementing containerized components (Docker) and supporting deployment to Kubernetes/ACA, and IaC (Terraform).
• English: B2 required for verbal and written communication.
