TL;DR

Account Manager II (HR/Payroll Software): Resolving client payroll and HR system challenges and fostering customer relationships with an accent on fundamental technical expertise, effective resource utilization, and meeting performance metrics. Focus on troubleshooting issues, collaborating with internal experts, and ensuring timely solution delivery and high client satisfaction.

Location: 100% in-office role based in Rochester, NY. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position.

Salary: $25–$29/hr

What you will do

  • Maintain consistent availability and manage workloads to resolve client payroll and HR system challenges.
  • Champion client interests, delivering clear resolutions and collaborating with internal technical experts.
  • Prioritize successful and punctual solution delivery in line with client requirements and service metrics.
  • Leverage resources to source and validate answers, document issues, and ensure seamless client support.
  • Navigate hirify.global products and partners, maintaining advanced system knowledge.
  • Work cross-functionally and contribute to collective goals in a cohesive environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Communications, Organizational Leadership, International Business, Hospitality, Finance or Accounting) and 1+ year in technical support, call center, or high-volume customer-facing roles; OR High School Diploma and 2+ years of HCM experience or 4+ years in relevant customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in customer service or a previous client interfacing role.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional business correspondence.
  • Ability to multitask, respond promptly, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Must be able to work on-site five days per week at the Rochester, NY location.

Nice to have

  • Experience in team leadership, coaching, training, peer mentorship, or acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Experience in a payroll and/or call center environment.
  • CPP, FPC, APA, and/or SHRM-CP certified.
