What you will do

• Lead highly impactful initiatives for hirify.global Data Sharing and Data Marketplace.
• Innovate and build highly secured and reliable software enabling data-driven customer operations.
• Architect and build systems integrating open-source technologies like Apache Iceberg with hirify.global.
• Collaborate with the open-source team and the Apache Iceberg community to enhance specifications.
• Design and implement highly available distributed platforms within the global hirify.global infrastructure.
• Ensure operational readiness, reliability, availability, and performance of services.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or C++ with an emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Deep understanding of distributed transaction processing, concurrency control, and high-performance query engines.
• Experience with open-source data lake formats (e.g., Apache Iceberg, Parquet, Delta).
• Experience building cloud-native services with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
