What you will do

• Assess and take ownership of current IT-managed steps in the software procurement process.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve the end-to-end process for managing external software assets lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and gather requirements.
• Establish and manage a central inventory of software licenses, user accounts, and deployment information.
• Manage the full cycle of software license renewals, coordinating internally to ensure service continuity.
• Conduct regular usage reviews and license reconciliations to ensure compliance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Act as an organizational administrator and owner for a set of third-party systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management, or a related field.
• Experience with successful project implementation, such as establishing new processes or introducing SAM systems.
• Understanding of complex licensing models and subscription terms.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken, for clear internal and vendor communications.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage project timelines effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with implementing or administering a dedicated SAM system.
• Ability to work with SAM methodologies.
• Familiarity with diverse IT environments.
