What you will do

• Architect and design highly scalable, available, resilient, and performant systems using enterprise integration patterns, domain-driven design, and various architectural styles.
• Lead technical teams, mentor junior developers, and drive architectural decisions.
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures, leveraging AWS core services and best practices.
• Manage data with relational and NoSQL databases, including optimization and migration strategies.
• Develop RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and understand API gateway concepts.
• Understand and integrate Agentic AI principles, LLMs, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning into applications.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, domain-driven design (DDD), and architectural styles.
• Ability to design highly scalable, available, resilient, and performant systems.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB), including data modelling and optimization.
• Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and understanding API gateway concepts.
• Crucial proficiency in AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, VPC, CloudFormation, EKS) and architectural best practices.
• Understanding of Agentic AI principles, LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and responsible AI development.
• Office attendance required in Birmingham, West Midlands, England, United Kingdom.
• English: B2 required.
