What you will do

• Design and engineer large-scale systems across multiple squads to ensure optimal technical trade-offs.
• Lead squads in making sensible architectural decisions for the most complex technical problems.
• Manage technical dependencies and communication cross-functionally across the wider organisation.
• Implement and champion a DevOps culture based on the "you build it, you run it" principle.
• Leverage Generative AI tools to increase productivity and enhance decision-making processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and engineering large-scale systems.
• Proven track record of technical excellence and the ability to set a technical vision.
• Strong alignment with DevOps culture and cloud-native development practices.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/LLM integrations and Generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of NLP techniques and intelligent document processing.
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) and search platforms (e.g., OpenSearch, Elasticsearch).
• Exposure to agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks, and MCP (Model Context Protocol).
