Location: Hybrid role requiring staff to be in one of our offices (San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA) at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $175,000–$220,000 USD

What you will do

• Conduct all-source intelligence collection and analysis to identify and assess physical security threats.
• Produce clear, well-sourced analytical products for executive delivery.
• Provide intelligence support for executive protection, travel security, and major events.
• Monitor open-source intelligence, social media, and deep/dark web for emerging threats.
• Investigate and triage concerning communications and persons of concern using threat assessment methodologies.
• Track geopolitical developments and sector-specific threat trends relevant to AI industry.
• Build relationships with external intelligence partners and law enforcement agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in protective intelligence, corporate investigations, or threat assessment.
• Expertise in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tradecraft and specialized intelligence tools.
• Hands-on experience applying established threat assessment methodologies (e.g., TRAP-18, WAVR-21).
• Excellent communication skills to tailor complex content for various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable supporting operations requiring a flexible schedule, including 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Must be comfortable with potential exposure to graphic and explicit content, including material of a sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing nature.

• Background in high-growth technology companies or startup.
• Specialized knowledge of risks unique to the AI sector.
• Professional certifications such as CTM, CPP, PCI.
• Familiarity with privacy law and legal considerations governing intelligence collection.
• Experience with link analysis, data visualization, or geospatial intelligence tools.
