What you will do

• Participate in squad meetings, sprint planning, and standups.
• Write, maintain, and execute manual test cases in TestRail for new features, bug fixes, and regressions.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
• Assist in maintaining and running existing API automation tests using Python and Pytest.
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues, identify root causes, and verify fixes in collaboration with Engineering and Technical Support.
• Own the release process for your squad, validating readiness for deployment.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in Manual QA or a similar technical role.
• Strong skills in manual functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with TestRail, Postman, Jira, Datadog, Sentry, Browser DevTools, and writing SQL queries.
• Interest or exposure to API test automation using Python (or other OOP languages); willingness to expand automation skills.
• Effective debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience writing or maintaining API automation tests.
• Experience contributing to a test automation framework.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS.
