Salary: USD $139,900 – $274,800 per year (USD $188,000 – $304,200 in San Francisco Bay area and New York City).

What you will do

• Build large-scale ML models for text and numerical data and deploy them to production.
• Run A/B testing and analyze model impacts on business KPIs and failure modes.
• Conduct data exploration and analysis for new features and model improvements.
• Establish scalable pipelines for data processing, analytics, model training, and validation.
• Set up automated monitoring processes for system health using agentic workflows.
• Track state-of-the-art approaches and mentor junior scientists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Statistics, Econometrics, CS, EE/CE or related AND 6+ years experience OR Master’s AND 4+ years OR Doctorate AND 3+ years (or equivalent).
• Ability to meet hirify.global Cloud Background Check requirements.
• Experience in statistics, predictive analytics, or research.

Nice to have

• Master’s/Doctorate with 9+/6+ years experience.
• 5+ years customer-facing or consulting experience.
• Deep expertise in designing/training large-scale ML/LLM models and production deployment.
• Experience with LLM inference pipelines and fine-tuning (SFT, LoRA, RLHF).
• Strong skills in ML/LLM evaluation frameworks, metrics, and monitoring for hallucination, bias, safety.
