What you will do

• Lead design and architecture of complex systems for the 'Serve' web ordering platform.
• Own delivery of large-scale features, coordinating efforts across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders on requirements and technical decisions.
• Ensure the implementation of high-quality, resilient, and scalable distributed systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and incident management efforts for critical production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Expert proficiency in React, TypeScript, and NextJS.
• In-depth understanding of architectural principles for distributed systems (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture).
• Skilled in applying resilience mechanisms and performance tuning practices.
• Proficient in managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes/EKS) and implementing DevOps best practices (e.g., CI/CD, Terraform).
• Demonstrate strong leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.
