Data Architect

TL;DR

Data Architect: Leading the architecture vision, data integration, and analytics strategies for a no-code platform with an accent on establishing best practices for data governance, security, and compliance. Focus on designing scalable, distributed, and event-driven data architectures and optimizing new and existing database systems.

Location: Remote within Ukraine or from a hirify.global office in Ukraine

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into data requirements and source-to-target data mappings.
• Lead architecture vision, trade-off analysis, and proof-of-concept implementations.
• Drive data integration, transformation, and analytics strategies.
• Establish best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
• Provide guidance to development teams on technical data-related issues and standards.
• Design conceptual and logical data models, flowcharts, service, and data integrations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, modeling, software development, or cloud solutions.
• 4+ years of experience working with Cloud solutions (AWS preferable).
• Strong expertise in designing scalable, distributed, and event-driven data architectures.
• Extensive hands-on experience with NoSQL, RDBMS, In-Memory storages, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB Atlas, and Redis.
• Expertise in data security, access control, and compliance.
• English: Upper-intermediate level or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SEI).
• Hands-on experience with NodeJS.
