What you will do

• Design high-level and low-level architecture based on evolving business requirements
• Extend and evolve enterprise data platform on GCP for new use cases and scalability
• Own technical expertise and strategic vision for data platform including data mesh tooling
• Collaborate with data engineers, enterprise architects, and stakeholders
• Provide guidance to teams on blockers and hands-on support for delivery
• Support development of modern data mesh architecture at strategy-implementation intersection

Requirements

• 3+ years as Data Platform Architect or Senior Data Engineer/Architect
• Skilled in designing enterprise data platforms on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Dataform, Dataplex, GKE)
• Hands-on with Terraform IaC, GitLab CI/CD, Java/Python/Bash programming
• Strong software/data engineering fundamentals, databases, distributed systems
• Experience with data mesh, stakeholder management, mentoring
• Comfortable in fast-evolving environments (GCP certifications nice to have)
