What you will do
- Safeguard hirify.global and clients from financial crime risk including money laundering, terrorist financing, and fraud.
- Perform anti-financial crime checks as part of the onboarding process for corporate clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive CDD and EDD checks for corporate clients, analyzing complex ownership structures, financial statements, and transaction patterns.
- Identify red flags and exposure to financial crime risk, escalating to Compliance and Senior Management when required.
- Make risk-based decisions to onboard or reject applications and efficiently manage a personal portfolio of onboarding cases.
- Document client files, identify opportunities for process improvement, and assist in preparation for internal/external audits and ad-hoc departmental projects.
Requirements
- Entry level role, preferably with experience in KYC or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and other languages required.
- Knowledge of red flags and financial crime typologies relevant to the payments and FX space.
- Proactive, highly organised, and diligent with excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and comfortable working in a team environment.
- Curious, engaged, and adaptable to cope with changing products, processes, and procedures.
