Location: Hybrid (2 days in-office) in Belfast, UK

What you will do

• Act as first responder, organizing and controlling incident response.
• Monitor and manage platforms to meet internal SLAs, operational KPIs, and quality standards.
• Handle complex technical support issues and review/implement changes in controlled environments.
• Support network faults to conclusion in a multi-vendor, multi-appliance infrastructure.
• Perform day-to-day technical operations, including network/firewall troubleshooting and scripting changes.
• Help with the technical development and guidance of junior engineers.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (minimum 2nd or 3rd line) in a fast-paced, enterprise NOC role.
• In-depth support experience with LAN & WAN technologies (OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, Layer 2 architectures).
• Exposure to firewalls and load balancing (F5 LB, iRules) with an understanding of security posture.
• Experience with VPN (IPSec and SSL), Wireless technologies, ISO, and ITIL standards.
• Experience supporting or working with Cloud Technologies.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Enterprise R&S, Firewall, or Wireless certification (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, Meraki).
• Cloud Certification (GCP preferable, AWS, Azure).
• Toolset Management experience (Solarwinds or similar).
• WCA (Wireshark Certified) or experience with hardware-based packet capture systems.
• Multicast experience (PIM-SM, MSDP, AnyCastRP).
