What you will do

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities for IT projects.
• Bridge business needs with technology delivery by creating comprehensive test documentation.
• Coordinate and execute UAT, ensuring systems meet regulatory, operational, and risk standards.
• Manage shifting priorities effectively and collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, and end-users.
• Validate integrations (e.g., APIs, data flows, end-to-end processes) in partnership with technology teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating test case documentation and executing user acceptance/regression testing.
• Strong experience writing user stories and requirements, preferably in Gherkin format.
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira (for issue/defect tracking, user stories, and agile workflows) and Confluence (for documentation and collaboration).
• Solid understanding of UAT processes, including coordination, execution, defect management, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts.
• Must work full-time as a W2 Contractor in Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• Background in regulated industries (e.g., finance, energy, healthcare).
• Familiarity with test automation tools or frameworks that leverage Gherkin/Cucumber.
• Previous experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and quality assurance best practices.
