What you will do

• Lead alliances engineering related activities for the APJ region.
• Consult and assist alliances and customers through presentations, trainings, evaluations, and system installations.
• Work closely with VAST R&D Engineering to define product requirements and usability.
• Participate in sales strategy and take ownership of technical responsibilities within customer and alliance accounts.
• Demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on storage products and distributed storage architectures.
• Create architecture “blueprints” for repeatable solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage to large IT organizations.
• Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-generation analytics and web frameworks.
• Experience preparing and/or delivering technical product and architecture presentations.
• Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance, networking, and enterprise security.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
