Location: Remote (Spain), with the company headquartered in Barcelona.

is a fast-growing scale-up company in the vacation rental industry, providing a platform to manage property businesses worldwide, headquartered in Barcelona with a diverse international team.
What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and contribute to data governance.
- Develop and optimise data models using dbt for analytics and operational use cases.
- Ensure data infrastructure supports downstream consumers, including analytics and future AI/ML initiatives.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data accessibility.
- Mentor team members and promote data engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years in data engineering with modern data stack tools.
- Advanced SQL, proficient Python for data engineering tasks.
- Strong data modeling and warehousing fundamentals.
- Proven experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), dbt, and ELT solutions.
- Experience with a cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Track record of building and maintaining reliable, end-to-end data pipelines in production.
- English: B2 required for all applications and CVs.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of JavaScript/Frontend for tracking and troubleshooting.
- Experience with BI/visualisation tools.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and data requirements.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures or data privacy regulations (GDPR).
- SaaS or Travel/Hospitality industry experience.
