What you will do

• Interpret actuarial/statistical models and communicate their assumptions and results effectively.
• Explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and identify areas for improvement.
• Report progress on software development.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is required
• A strong academic background in Statistics/Applied Mathematics is required (mixed exponential distributions etc.).
• At least 2 years of work experience, especially related to Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Analytical Research.
• Strong Excel skills, along with the ability to learn programming languages.
• Prior experience with R, Python and/or SAS are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, listening and teamwork skills, and effective summarization skills.
• Detail-oriented technical aptitude with strong logical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness to work as a full-time employee from Cracow city-center based office in a hybrid model.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Property-Casualty Insurance coverages, data, and/or actuarial methodologies.
