What you will do

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (BE Engineers, FE Engineers, QA Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts) on successful software delivery.
• Take ownership of projects and enable customers to set up their environments from test to production.
• Analyze customer situations, needs, and existing setups to provide documented implementation guidelines.
• Advise on security standards and optimize performance for customer implementations.
• Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of solutions that improve product stability, scalability, availability, and latency.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to provide valuable input for product improvement based on customer and partner interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Proven experience designing and/or building mission-critical services (large-scale internet or cloud-based).
• Proven experience with production systems and dealing with production issues.
• Working knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, and Shell.
• Experience deploying Java applications, JVM tuning, and Tomcat.
• Expertise with Cloud (AWS or Google Cloud) and Linux/Unix systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, Openshift, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Experience deploying Spring Boot applications.
• Database administration experience.
• Experience with Helm charts.
